As part of its Strategic Human Resource Development Plan, Rosderra Irish Meats Group is planning to run a 12 month Graduate/Management Development Programme starting in August 2020 and continuing until July 2021. Part of the programme will be a Diploma in Management in conjunction with the Dublin Institute of Technology and IBEC.
The Diploma will earn the successful participants a Third Level College/Institution Accreditation Diploma in Management and will significantly enhance the participants skills set.
The primary objective of the Diploma is to provide relevant management education across all areas of the food business with emphasis on manufacturing and operations management, technical compliance, financial compliance, health & safety, environment management and engineering. It will also deliver an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals involved in the management of others, gaining practical experience in the development of core skills in this area. It also offers the opportunity to learn about the leadership and management styles within the Rosderra Meats Group.
Rosderra Meats operates in a Lean Manufacturing environment and over the past 10 years has rolled out Lean Principles across all of its sites. The Development Programme for Graduates and Managers is closely linked in all aspects to the Groups Continuous Improvement Strategy and projects and learning during the Programme will be structured around the Groups Lean Journey giving participants a hugely beneficial insight into our business and Lean Process.
The 2020/2021 Development Programme will select from both external and internal applicants. The selection process will relate to specific career development opportunities identified in the following areas; Operations, Sales, Finance, Quality, Human Resources, Logistics, Procurement and Farm Management.
